Schizomeria ovata is a rainforest tree species native to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. It occurs in warm-temperate rainforests along the coasts of New South Wales and Queensland. The species was first described in 1830 by D.Don and belongs to the family Cunoniaceae.

Description

Schizomeria ovata is a medium to large tree found in coastal rainforest regions of New South Wales and Queensland, extending north from Narooma and south from Fraser Island. It also occurs in the rainforests of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. This species is part of the Cunoniaceae family and is known for its presence in warm-temperate rainforest ecosystems.
