Sarawak bean

Vigna hosei (Craib) Backer, known as the Sarawak bean, is a member of the Fabaceae family. It is a perennial legume that thrives in low-lying, humid tropical environments, particularly in disturbed or roadside habitats. Its distribution spans multiple regions including Borneo, India, Japan, Kenya, Malaya, and others. First described in 1924, it is commonly found in tropical climates across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific.
