Santiria tomentosa is a species in the family Burseraceae, native to Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. It was first described in 1850 by Blume.

Santiria tomentosa belongs to the genus Santiria and is part of the Burseraceae family, commonly known as the torchwood or frankincense family. It is naturally distributed across several regions in Southeast Asia, including Borneo, Malaya, the Philippines, and Sumatera. This species was formally published in 1850 by the botanist Blume.
