Arctostaphylos confertiflora is a species of shrub in the Ericaceae family, native to California. It is found specifically on the sandstone bluffs of Santa Rosa Island within the Channel Islands. The species is recognized as endangered by the United States Government.

Description

Arctostaphylos confertiflora, known as Santa Rosa Island manzanita, is a member of the genus Arctostaphylos. It is endemic to California and is restricted to the sandstone bluffs of Santa Rosa Island in the Channel Islands. The species was first described in 1934 by Eastwood. Due to its limited distribution and habitat, it is classified as endangered by the United States Government.
