Pholisma sonorae, known as sandfood, is a flowering plant in the family Lennoaceae. It is native to the Sonoran Deserts, including the California Yuha, Mojave Desert, and Colorado Desert in Arizona, as well as the Yuma Desert in Mexico. It is found in only a few locations.

Pholisma sonorae is a species of flowering plant in the genus Pholisma. It is found in Arizona, California, and the Yuma Desert in Mexico. This plant is restricted to the Sonoran Desert region, where it is known from only a few sites. It was first described in 1982.
