Solidago arenicola is a species in the Asteraceae family, known as sand goldenrod. It is native to Alabama and Tennessee, where it grows in riverside scour areas on the Cumberland Plateau. The plant is locally common in its limited range.

Description

Solidago arenicola, described by B.R. Keener and Kral in 2003, is a member of the Asteraceae family. It is found only in Alabama and Tennessee, where it occurs in specific habitats along rivers on the Cumberland Plateau. Though its distribution is narrow, it can be abundant in suitable locations.
