Ambrosia chenopodiifolia is a species of ragweed in the Asteraceae family, commonly known as San Diego bur ragweed. It is native to the Mexican states of Baja California and Baja California Sur, as well as Orange and San Diego Counties in California, USA. This species is a member of the coastal sage scrub plant community.

Description

Ambrosia chenopodiifolia (Benth.) W.W.Payne is a species of ragweed in the Asteraceae family. It is found in the Mexican states of Baja California and Baja California Sur, as well as in Orange and San Diego Counties in California. The plant is part of the coastal sage scrub plant community and is known by the common name San Diego bur ragweed. It was first described in 1964.
