Saccolabiopsis pusilla is a species in the Orchidaceae family, native to Assam, Bangladesh, East Himalaya, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. It was first described in 1972 by Seidenf. & Garay, with the original name attributed to Lindl.

Description

This orchid species is part of the genus Saccolabiopsis, which is characterized by its unique floral morphology. It is found in several regions of South and Southeast Asia, including Assam, Bangladesh, East Himalaya, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. The species was formally published in 1972 by Seidenf. & Garay, who reclassified it from its original description by Lindl. The Orchidaceae family, to which it belongs, is one of the largest families of flowering plants and is widely distributed across the globe, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions.
