Micranthes rufidula, commonly known as rusty-haired saxifrage, is a flowering plant species in the Saxifragaceae family. It is native to western North America, occurring in British Columbia, Oregon, and one location in northern California. This perennial herb grows in moist, open, and rocky habitats in mountainous regions. It features oval leaves with blunt teeth on long petioles and produces white flowers on hairy peduncles.

Description

Micranthes rufidula is a perennial herb that grows from a small caudex and rhizome system. It is found in moist, rocky environments in mountainous areas of western North America. The plant has oval leaf blades with blunt teeth and long petioles. Its inflorescence is supported by a hairy peduncle and bears white flowers. The species was first described in 1905 by Small and is part of the Saxifragaceae family.
