Roystonea dunlapiana, known as yagua or cabiche, is a palm species native to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Honduras. It is the sole member of the genus Roystonea not found in the insular Caribbean.

Description

Roystonea dunlapiana is a palm in the Arecaceae family, first described in 1952 by P.H. Allen. It is distributed across southeastern Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Unlike other species in the genus Roystonea, it does not occur in the insular Caribbean. The species is commonly referred to as yagua or cabiche.
