Solidago patula, known as rough-leaved goldenrod, is a perennial herb in the Asteraceae family. It is native to wetlands in the eastern United States, including swamps, fens, and sedge meadows. The species is found as far west as Wisconsin and Texas. It may reach a height of 5 feet and is divided into two subspecies.

Description

Solidago patula (Muhl. ex Willd.) is a member of the Asteraceae family and is commonly referred to as rough-leaved goldenrod.
