Rosularia serrata (L.) A.Berger

Rosularia serrata (L.) A.Berger is a member of the Crassulaceae family and is native to the East Aegean Islands, Greece, Kriti, Lebanon-Syria, and Turkey. The species was published in 1930. Taxonomic clarification has been provided regarding the lectotype designation, with corrections noted in botanical literature.
Description
Rosularia serrata belongs to the Crassulaceae family and is distributed across the East Aegean Islands, Greece, Kriti, Lebanon-Syria, and Turkey. The species was formally described in 1930. Earlier taxonomic discussions have highlighted errors in the designation of the lectotype by Eggli in 1988, who incorrectly cited sheet 595.4 (LINN) as the lectotype for this species. This sheet was correctly identified as the lectotype for Sedum libanoticum L. (1759). Edmondson and Rowley (1998) have provided a color reproduction of the Dillenius illustration referenced in this context. A corrected lectotype designation is documented in Froederstroem (1932).
