Tabebuia haemantha (Bertol. ex Spreng.) DC. is a member of the Bignoniaceae family and is commonly called roble cimarron. This species is native to Puerto Rico, where it is part of the local flora. The name was published in 1845 and has since been recognized as a distinct taxon within the genus Tabebuia.
