Rhus terebinthifolia is a species in the genus Rhus, belonging to the family Anacardiaceae. It was first described in 1830 by Schltdl. & Cham.

Description

This plant species is native to several regions in Mexico and Central America, including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico Central, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Northwest, Mexico Southeast, Mexico Southwest, and Nicaragua. It is part of the Anacardiaceae family, commonly known as the cashew or sumac family, which includes a variety of economically and ecologically significant plants.
