Rhodiola tibetica is a species in the Crassulaceae family, native to regions including Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, and the West Himalaya. It was first described in 1965 by Fu, with the original authorship attributed to Hook.f. & Thomson.

Description

Rhodiola tibetica belongs to the genus Rhodiola within the stonecress family, Crassulaceae. This plant is found in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, and the West Himalaya. The species was formally published in 1965 by Fu, based on earlier work by Hook.f. & Thomson. It is part of a genus known for its adaptability to harsh environments and is often found in alpine or rocky habitats.
