Rheum nanum

Rheum nanum is a member of the Polygonaceae family, commonly known as the buckwheat family. This species is part of the genus Rheum, which includes several plants known for their rhubarb-like characteristics. The scientific name was published in 1797 by Siev. ex Pall., following the nomenclatural rules of botanical taxonomy.
