(Lagrange).
Description
Reseda media belongs to the genus Reseda within the Resedaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the mignonette family. This species is distributed across several regions, including the Azores and Madeira archipelagos, the Iberian Peninsula, and parts of North Africa. Its presence has been recorded on islands such as Faial, Santa Maria, São Miguel, and Terceira in the Azores, as well as Madeira Island. The species was formally described in 1816 by Lag. (Lagrange), and it continues to be recognized in botanical records for its occurrence in these geographic areas.
