The species was first described in 1809 and belongs to the Proteaceae family.
Description
Serruria rostellaris is a member of the genus Serruria within the Proteaceae family. It is endemic to the Western Cape region of South Africa and is a component of the fynbos biome. Its distribution includes locations from Grabouw to Hermanus, as well as Groenlandberg, Caledon, Swartberg, and Kleinrivierberge. The plant is known by the common name Remote Spiderhead in English.
