The species is now cultivated in several regions, including BR, SE, NO, the conterminous 48 United States, Alabama, Argentina Northeast, Brazil South, Bulgaria, and China South-Central. It is also known by other common names such as royal lily, king's lily, and in New Zealand, the Christmas lily.
