Description

Hakea bucculenta is a member of the Proteaceae family and is endemic to Western Australia. This shrub is cultivated for its ornamental value, producing elongated clusters of red or orange flowers that appear in the leaf axils. Blooming occurs over an extended period, from May through November. The species was first described in 1936 by C.A. Gardner.
