Description

Cornus alba is a suckering shrub often grown as a small tree. It is widely used in landscaping for its striking red winter stems and variegated leaf forms. To maintain vibrant bark color, older stems are cut to the ground at the end of winter before leaf emergence. The shrub produces white or blue-tinted oval fruits. It is hardy and adaptable, thriving in various temperate regions.
