Rafflesia micropylora

Rafflesia micropylora is a member of the Rafflesiaceae family and is native exclusively to Sumatra. This species was scientifically described in 1984 by Meijer. Like other members of the genus Rafflesia, it is a parasitic plant that relies on host plants for survival. It is part of a group of species known for their large flowers and unique ecological adaptations.
