Racinaea riocreuxii is a species in the Bromeliaceae family, first described in 1993 by André and later reclassified by M.A. Spencer and L.B. Smith. It is native to several regions in Colombia, including Parque Nacional Natural Los Nevados, Maripí, Ciénega, and departments such as Antioquia, Boyacá, Caldas, Cesar, Cundinamarca, Huila, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, and Tolima. Its distribution also extends to Bolivia, Ecuador, and Venezuela.

The species was first described in 1993 and has since been documented in multiple Colombian departments.
