Pyrrosia distichocarpa

Pyrrosia distichocarpa is a member of the genus Pyrrosia, which belongs to the Polypodiaceae family, commonly known as the polypody fern family. This species is indigenous to the island of Sumatera. The scientific name was formally published in 1983 by K.H. Shing, who revised and reclassified the original description by Mett. The species is part of a group of epiphytic or lithophytic ferns that are typically found in tropical and subtropical regions.
