Houstonia wrightii, known as pygmy bluet, is a species in the Rubiaceae family. It is native to the south-western United States and northern Mexico.

Description

Houstonia wrightii, the pygmy bluet, is a plant species in the Rubiaceae family. It is found in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and parts of Mexico including the central, Gulf, and northeastern regions. The species was first described in 1882 by Asa Gray. It is a small herbaceous plant adapted to the arid and semi-arid environments of its native range.
