Pygmaeothamnus zeyheri (Sond.) Robyns is a member of the Rubiaceae family, commonly known as the coffee family. It is distributed across Angola, Botswana, Burundi, the Cape Provinces, the Caprivi Strip, the Free State, Namibia, the Northern Provinces, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaïre, and Zimbabwe. This species was first described in 1928. It belongs to the genus Pygmaeothamnus, which is part of the broader Rubiaceae family known for its diversity of shrubs and trees in tropical and subtropical regions.
