Fumaria purpurea, known as Purple Ramping-Fumitory, is an annual flowering herb in the Papaveraceae family. It is endemic to the British Isles, including Great Britain and Ireland. The species was first described in 1902 by Pugsley.

Fumaria purpurea is a member of the genus Fumaria and belongs to the poppy family, Papaveraceae. This annual herb is native only to the British Isles, where it grows as part of the local flora.
