Psophocarpus monophyllus is a species in the genus Psophocarpus, belonging to the Fabaceae family. It was first described by Harms in 1907 and is native to several regions in West Africa, including Burkina, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, and Moyenne-Guinée.

Psophocarpus monophyllus is a plant species within the Fabaceae family, commonly known as the legume or pea family. This species was scientifically described by Harms in 1907. Its natural distribution is limited to several countries in West Africa: Burkina, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, and Moyenne-Guinée. As a member of the Psophocarpus genus, it shares characteristics typical of the legume family, such as compound leaves and specialized root nodules for nitrogen fixation.
