Pseudocrossidium revolutum is a moss species in the family Pottiaceae, known as pseudocrossidium moss. It was first described in 1979 and is found in several regions, including Faial Island, Madeira Island, Porto Santo Island, Flanders, the southeastern United States, Norway, Denmark, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, the Flemish Region, and the Walloon Region.

Description

Pseudocrossidium revolutum belongs to the Pottiaceae, a family of mosses commonly referred to as the Pottiaceae. This species is distributed across a range of locations, including the Azores islands of Faial and Madeira, as well as Porto Santo. It is also present in parts of Europe, such as Flanders, the southeastern U.S., Norway, Denmark, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and the regions of Belgium known as the Flemish and Walloon Regions. The species was formally published in 1979 under the authorship of R.H. Zander, revising the original description by Brid.
