Description
Prosthechea spondiada (Rchb.f.) W.E.Higgins is an orchid species belonging to the genus Prosthechea in the Orchidaceae family. It is naturally distributed across several Central American and Caribbean regions, including Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, and Panamá. The species was published in 1998 and is recorded in an updated checklist of the Orchidaceae of Honduras, where it is associated with the voucher specimen H. Hein A 135, housed at the SEL herbarium.
