Prosthechea livida (Lindl.) W.E.Higgins is a species in the Orchidaceae family, distributed across regions including Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America. It has been documented in Honduras with voucher A. Molina R. 11011 (EAP, F).

Description

Prosthechea livida is a member of the Orchidaceae family and is native to several countries, including Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. The species is found in specific subregions such as the Cordillera occidental and Enclaves subxerofíticos in Colombia. It was first described in 1998 and has been recorded in Honduras, with a voucher specimen collected by A. Molina R. 11011, housed in the EAP and F herbaria.
