Prostanthera ringens, commonly known as gaping mint-bush, is a shrub in the Lamiaceae family. It is native to eastern Australia, specifically New South Wales and Queensland. The plant has four-sided, hairy, glandular branches and oblong or egg-shaped leaves. Its flowers are pale blue, greenish, or yellow, and appear singly in leaf axils.

Description

Prostanthera ringens is a species of flowering shrub in the Lamiaceae family, first described in 1848 by Benth. It is found in New South Wales and Queensland. The plant features bushy growth with four-sided, hairy, and densely glandular stems. The leaves are oblong or egg-shaped. The flowers are pale blue to greenish or yellow, and are arranged singly in the leaf axils.
