Prostanthera caerulea, known as lilac mint bush, is a flowering shrub native to eastern Australia. It has narrow, egg-shaped leaves with toothed margins and produces white to bluish mauve flowers at the ends of its branchlets.

Description

Prostanthera caerulea is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is found in New South Wales and Queensland. It is an erect shrub characterized by its narrow, ovate leaves with serrated edges. The plant bears clusters of white to bluish mauve flowers at the tips of its branchlets. Described by R.Br. in 1810, it is a species endemic to eastern Australia.
