Prostanthera aspalathoides, commonly known as scarlet mint-bush, is a species of flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family. It is native to south-eastern Australia and was first described in 1834.
Description
Prostanthera aspalathoides is a small shrub with hairy branches, cylindrical or linear to elliptic or oblong leaves, and red, pinkish red, or orange flowers. The flowers are arranged singly in the leaf axils. This species is found in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Victoria.
