Prestonia trifida

Prestonia trifida (Poepp.) Woodson is a member of the Apocynaceae family and is found in several countries including Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru. Within Colombia, it has been recorded in Antioquia, Atlántico, Bolívar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, and Santander. Specific locations include the Vereda Luriza in the Distrito de Manejo Integrado Luriza, Hacienda El Ceibal, and areas such as Barrancas, Distracción, Hatonuevo, and Piojó in Riohacha. The species was first described in 1933.
