Description

Prestonia rotundifolia, described by K.Schum. ex Woodson in 1936, belongs to the genus Prestonia within the Apocynaceae family. It is distributed in regions such as Cimitarra, Antioquia, Chocó, Nariño, and globally in Colombia and Ecuador. This species inhabits subtropical or tropical dry forests as well as subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. However, it is at risk due to the degradation and loss of its natural habitats.
