Pottsia laxiflora is a species in the genus Pottsia, belonging to the family Apocynaceae. It was first described by Kuntze in 1891.

Description

Pottsia laxiflora is a member of the Apocynaceae, a family of flowering plants commonly known as the dogbane family. This species is native to several regions in Southeast Asia, including Assam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Jawa, Laos, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Myanmar, Sumatera, Thailand, and Vietnam. The species name 'laxiflora' may refer to the loose or spreading arrangement of its flowers. It is part of the genus Pottsia, which includes other flowering plants found in tropical regions.
