Polyphlebium capillaceum (L.) Ebihara & Dubuisson is a species in the Hymenophyllaceae family, native to various regions in Colombia and the Archipiélago de Cuba. It was formally described in 2006.
Description
This species is part of the genus Polyphlebium and is found in several Colombian departments, including Antioquia, Boyacá, Cundinamarca, and others, as well as in the Archipiélago de Cuba. It occurs in protected areas such as Parque Nacional Natural Las Orquídeas and Parque Nacional Natural Sumapaz. Its distribution also extends to California, Girón, and multiple other locations across the country. The species was published in 2006 under the current scientific name.
