Polyosma cunninghamii, known as featherwood, is a small rainforest tree native to eastern Australia. It is found in various rainforest types, primarily in cooler, high-altitude regions. Its distribution ranges from Kioloa in southern New South Wales to Maleny in southeastern Queensland. It is less common in drier rainforest environments.

Description

Polyosma cunninghamii, described by Benn. in 1840, is a member of the Escalloniaceae family. This species is typically found in the cooler, high-altitude rainforests of eastern Australia. It is distributed from Kioloa near Batemans Bay in southern New South Wales, extending northward to Maleny in southeastern Queensland. It is not commonly found in drier rainforest areas.
