Polycarpon succulentum, described by J.Gay in 1847, is a member of the Caryophyllaceae family, commonly known as the carnation or carnation family. It is distributed across Egypt, the Gulf States, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon-Syria, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and Sinai. The species is part of the genus Polycarpon, which includes other related plants within the same family.
