It is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico, specifically found in New Mexico, Texas, and parts of Mexico including the Northeast, Northwest, and Southwest regions. The species was published in 1976 and is scientifically classified under the genus Tiquilia.

Description

Tiquilia greggii (Torr. & A.Gray) A.T.Richardson is a member of the plant family Ehretiaceae. It is commonly referred to as plumed crinklemat in English. This species is distributed across New Mexico and Texas in the United States, as well as in several regions of Mexico, including the Northeast, Northwest, and Southwest. The scientific name was formally published in 1976.
