Pluchea baccharis, known as rosy camphorweed, is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is native to the coastal plain of the Southeastern United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Bahamas. It grows in wet savannas, marshes, and flatwoods.

Description

Pluchea baccharis (Mill.) Pruski is a species in the genus Pluchea of the family Asteraceae. It is distributed in Alabama, Bahamas, Belize, Cuba, Florida, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Louisiana, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Southeast, Mexico Southwest, Mississippi, Nicaragua, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. It is commonly referred to as rosy camphorweed and is adapted to wetland habitats such as wet savannas, marshes, and flatwoods.
