Pleiospilos nelii, known as split rock or living granite, is a flowering plant in the Aizoaceae family. It is native to South Africa, specifically found in the Karoo region, where it thrives in semi-arid conditions with annual rainfall between 150mm and 300mm.

It is part of the genus Pleiospilos and was first described by Schwantes in 1930.
