Description

Packera plattensis (Nutt.) W.A. Weber & Á. Löve is a species of flowering plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to regions including British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and parts of the United States such as Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, and others. The species was first published in 1981. It is also known by the common names prairie ragwort and prairie groundsel. Previously, it was classified within the genus Senecio.
