Nepenthes pilosa, a tropical pitcher plant, is native to Borneo. It is distinguished by a dense covering of long yellow-brown hairs and a hook-shaped appendage on the underside of the pitcher lid. The species was described in 1928 by Danser.

Description

Nepenthes pilosa belongs to the genus Nepenthes in the family Nepenthaceae. It is found in Southern Asia, particularly in Borneo. The plant is notable for its hairy indumentum and a unique hook-like structure on the pitcher lid. The name pilosa is derived from the Latin pilosus, meaning 'hairy'.
