Nepenthes murudensis, known as the Murud pitcher-plant, is a species of tropical pitcher plant native to Mount Murud in Borneo. It is believed to have originated from a hybrid of N. reinwardtiana and N. tentaculata. The species was formally described in 1997.

Description

Nepenthes murudensis is a member of the Nepenthaceae family and is found exclusively in the region of Mount Murud on the island of Borneo. This species is notable for its presumed hybrid ancestry, with N. reinwardtiana and N. tentaculata considered as its likely parent species. The plant is commonly referred to as a pitcher plant and is part of the broader genus Nepenthes, which is known for its carnivorous adaptations.
