Nepenthes holdenii Mey

Nepenthes holdenii is a species of tropical pitcher plant in the family Nepenthaceae. It is native to western Cambodia, growing at elevations between 600 and 800 meters. Initially recorded from only two peaks in the Cardamom Mountains, a new population was discovered in October 2011. Seeds were collected in 2014, and the species has since been successfully cultivated.
Description
Nepenthes holdenii is a member of the genus Nepenthes, known for its pitcher-shaped traps that capture prey. The species is found in southern Asia, specifically in Cambodia. It was first described in 2010 and has a limited natural distribution. The discovery of a new population in 2011 expanded its known range. The successful cultivation of this species in 2014 marks an important step in its conservation and study.
