Nepenthes edwardsiana is a tropical pitcher plant species found exclusively on Mount Kinabalu and Mount Tambuyukon in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. It is known for producing some of the largest pitchers and the most developed peristome ribs among all Nepenthes species.

Description

Nepenthes edwardsiana, described in 1859 by H.Low ex Hook.f., belongs to the family Nepenthaceae. This carnivorous plant is native to Southern Asia, specifically to the high-altitude regions of Borneo. It is recognized for its remarkable size and intricate pitcher structures, making it one of the most visually striking members of the genus Nepenthes.
