Persicaria bicornis, known as pink smartweed, is a flowering plant in the Polygonaceae family. It is native to the central and southwestern United States, including Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, as well as the Mexico Southwest. The species was published in 1914.

Description

Persicaria bicornis is a member of the buckwheat family (Polygonaceae) and is commonly referred to as pink smartweed. It is indigenous to the central and southwestern regions of the United States. Its range includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, as well as the Mexico Southwest. The species was formally described in 1914.
