Description
Handroanthus impetiginosus, also referred to as pink lapacho, pink trumpet tree, or macuelizo enano, is a member of the Bignoniaceae family. Its geographic range spans from northern Mexico through Central America to northern Argentina. It is recognized as a national tree of Paraguay alongside other species in the Handroanthus genus. The species was published in 1970 and is known by the common name pink ipê in English and other languages.
